Resources — Overview
Track materials, deliveries, and vendors across your construction project from a single module.
Resources is where you manage everything related to materials on your project — what you have in stock, what's being delivered, and who's supplying it. The three tabs work together to give you a clear picture of your material situation at any point during construction.
What's Inside
| Tab | What It Handles | When You'll Use It |

| Inventory | Materials on your project with stock levels and budget tracking | Checking stock, logging consumption, adjusting quantities |
| Deliveries | Every delivery arriving on-site with approval tracking | Logging new arrivals, approving or flagging deliveries |
| Approved suppliers with contact details and status | Adding new suppliers, managing who can deliver to your site |
How the Pieces Connect
Materials flow through a defined path before they show up in your inventory:
Approved Materials Only
Only materials approved through Material Submittals can be added to your inventory — this ensures every material on your project has proper documentation and traceability.
Accessing Resources
- Click Resources in the sidebar navigation
- Direct URL:
/dashboard/resources - Required role: Engineer or above
The three tabs appear at the top of the page. Your last-active tab is remembered when you return.
Quick Tips
- Budget alerts show up automatically when material costs exceed your budgeted amount or stock drops below 10% of planned quantity
- Use category filters to quickly find materials — filter by Concrete, Steel, Cement, and more
- Group by category or unit to organize large inventories on bigger projects
- The Deliveries tab doubles as your vendor delivery history — filter by vendor to see all their deliveries, costs, and approval status
