Signing In
How to sign in to PleoStack Construction on a computer or a phone, what to do when you cannot get in, and how long you stay signed in.
You sign in to PleoStack with your work email and a password. That is the same on a computer and on your phone — one account, both places.
Your account is created by an administrator at your company, not by you. There is no sign-up form. If you have not been added yet, the sign-in screen will tell you so rather than just refusing.
On a computer
Go to your PleoStack address
Your administrator gives you the link. Bookmark it — you will use it daily.
Enter your work email and password
Both fields are on the screen when it opens. Nothing to click first.
Select Sign in
You land on your dashboard. If you followed a link to a specific page, you go there instead.
If you would rather not type a password
Select Email me a sign-in link instead, below the password field. Enter your email and PleoStack sends you a link that signs you in when you open it.
This is handy when you are on a machine where your password manager is not set up. It needs access to your email on that device, so it is the slower option when you are on site.
To go back, select Use a password instead.
On your phone
Enter your email and password, and select Sign in.
The phone app is password-only — no sign-in link and no Google or Microsoft buttons. A link has to go out to your email and come back through a browser, which does not reliably return you to the app, so we do not offer a route that can strand you mid-sign-in.
Face ID and fingerprint
Once you have signed in on that phone at least once, the app offers to unlock with Face ID or your fingerprint as soon as you open it — you do not have to tap anything first.
If you dismiss it, you get the password form with your email already filled in. The unlock is offered only after a first successful sign-in, because there is nothing to unlock before that.
When you cannot get in
Read what the screen says — the two cases are different
A short message above the button means try again. A full panel means trying again will not help, and the panel explains what will.
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A message above the Sign in button | Your email and password did not match | Retype the password. Nothing you typed is cleared. |
| Account not found | That address has no PleoStack account | Ask your administrator to add you. PleoStack is invite-only. |
| No organization yet | Your account exists but is not attached to a company | Your administrator needs to add you to the organization. |
| Nothing happens on the phone | Usually no signal | Check your connection — the banner above the form tells you. |
Forgot your password
Select Forgot password? next to the password field, then confirm your email. You get:
If your.address@company.com has an account, a link to reset the password is on its way.
Open the link, choose a new password, and sign in with it.
Why it says “if”
PleoStack answers exactly the same way for an address that has no account. That stops anyone using the reset form to work out who does and does not have access — which means the message cannot confirm your account exists, even when it does. If nothing arrives within a few minutes, check the spelling and your spam folder, then ask your administrator whether the address on your account is the one you are typing.
How long you stay signed in
45 days, and the clock restarts every time you use PleoStack. If you use it most weeks, you will rarely be asked to sign in again.
Selecting Sign out ends the session on that device only. Signing out of a shared site tablet at the end of a shift does not sign you out of your own phone.
On a shared device
Sign out when you hand the tablet on. Closing the browser or the app is not the same thing — the session is still there when the next person opens it.
