How it works
Three steps from project data to actionable insights.

Open the reports hub
Click Reports in the sidebar. The Analytics tab shows six report cards — each with a live stat from current project data. Click any card to open the full report.

Filter to what matters
Apply date range, status, assignee, or priority filters. Active filters show as highlighted pills. Charts and tables update instantly. Clear filters with one click to reset.

Export or share
Download the filtered data as CSV for spreadsheet analysis, or use Print/PDF for a visual snapshot. For polished client deliverables, use Client Reports instead.

Why switch from manual reporting?
Most construction teams compile reports in spreadsheets. Here's what breaks.
The old way
- Reports compiled weekly by pulling numbers from different sources — WBS spreadsheet, inspection logs, material trackers. Hours of manual work.
- Charts built by hand in Excel. Formatting takes as long as gathering the data. Every chart is a one-off effort.
- No filtering capability. Want to see just overdue items in Phase 3? Manually sort and filter the spreadsheet, then re-build the chart.
- Portfolio view requires a separate master spreadsheet maintained by hand. Project managers email their numbers to the portfolio lead.
- Historical trends require maintaining months of data in parallel sheets. Most teams give up and only report current state.
With CivilFlow
- Six reports pre-built and always current. Data pulls from live project state — WBS, inspections, punch list, materials, daily logs.
- Charts generated automatically. Donut, bar, area, and trend charts render from real data with zero manual formatting.
- Filter by date, status, assignee, priority, or collection. Active filters show as pills. Charts update instantly.
- Portfolio Overview shows all projects with health indicators. Drill into any project without switching spreadsheets.
- Trend charts built in. Monthly progress, aging analysis, cost trajectories — all maintained automatically as data accumulates.
