Client Reports — Overview
The register of composed, branded reports — what the cards show, the four statuses, and how a report moves from draft to archived.
A client report is a composed document covering a period — a week, a month, or a range you set. PleoStack pulls the approved daily logs (and, on a project that does not require approval, the submitted ones) and the live project data for that period, arranges them into ten sections you can order and tune, and wraps the result in your branding. You then finalise it, and hand it over as a link or a printed PDF.
Where It Lives
Reports → Client Reports. The tab lists every report on the project with a count above it. New Report appears in the header only while this tab is showing.
Each row card carries the report title, its status badge, the period it covers, and whether it is weekly, monthly or a custom range. The row menu on each card offers Open and Delete.
Delete is permanent
Deleting removes the section layout, the narrative you wrote and the photo selection for good. The daily logs and records it drew from are untouched — but the report itself cannot be recovered. If the report was sent, deleting it also stops the client's link from working.
The Four Statuses
| Status | What it means | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Being built | Edit sections, save, preview, Mark as Final |
| Final | Ready to send | Preview, share by link, print, Mark as Sent |
| Sent | Recorded as delivered — locked, with the figures stored when you marked it sent | Preview, share, print, Archive, Revise |
| Archived | Closed | Read it, or Revise it. It cannot be un-archived |
The path runs one way: draft → final → sent → archived. Nothing moves backwards. To change a sent or archived report, Revise starts a new draft from it — with its sections, branding and photos — and leaves the sent one exactly as the client received it.
What Goes In
| Sections drawn from | Source |
|---|---|
| Manpower, Delays & Issues, Safety, Weather, Photos & Progress | Approved daily logs dated inside the report period, plus Submitted ones where the project does not require approval |
| Progress & Schedule, Inspections & QC, Issues, Materials & Resources | The project's live data, same as the analytics reports |
| Executive Summary and every Comments block | Written by you |
Logs still in review don't count
A daily log still in draft, or sitting in the approval queue, contributes nothing. If a section looks thin, check the approval queue before assuming the data is missing.

Questions
A log was approved after I started the report. Will the report pick it up?
Yes, while the report is a draft or final: the figures are compiled again when you open it, save it or open Preview. Once you press Mark as Sent, the figures are stored and don't change. To include the new log after that, press Revise and send the new draft.
Who can create and edit client reports?
Starting a report needs a role that can create work items. Saving, finalising and marking it sent need one that can edit work items, and deleting needs one that can delete them. Roles are set in Settings → Members & Roles.
Can I start this month's report from last month's?
No. New Report always starts fresh, with all ten sections on in the default order. Revise copies a sent report, but for the same period, so it's for correcting a report rather than starting the next one.
