Safety Hub — Overview

The safety console — a KPI strip, a needs-attention feed, quick actions, and the 8-week incident trend, all scoped to your project.

The Safety Hub is a fixed, purpose-built console — not a customisable widget grid. It answers one question the moment you open it: what needs my attention right now?

The KPI Strip

Four at-a-glance numbers across the top:

KPIWhat It CountsTone
Open incidentsIncidents that aren't closedBad when above zero
Active permitsCurrently active permits (with overdue flagged)Neutral / attention
Talks this weekToolbox talks delivered in the last 7 daysGood
Open walk findingsUnresolved observations across walksAttention

The Needs-Attention Feed

The heart of the Hub. It groups the things you should act on by urgency:

  • Critical — open incidents
  • Warning — permits expiring soon (with the exact time), open walk findings
  • Info — permits pending approval, talks awaiting sign-off

Every row is a deep link — tap it to jump straight to the record. When there's nothing outstanding, the feed shows an "All clear" message.

Work top-down

The feed is ordered by urgency. Clearing it top-to-bottom means you always handle the highest-risk items first.

Quick Actions

A row of one-tap capture buttons — Log talk, Start walk, Request permit, Report incident — each opens the matching capture flow with the form already open. There's also a link to permit Templates.

The Incident Trend

An 8-week line chart of incident counts, so you can see whether things are trending up or down. If there were no incidents in the window, it shows a "no incidents recorded" note.

On a Phone

The mobile Hub keeps the KPI strip and quick actions and adds a set of section chips (Toolbox Talks, Safety Walks, Permits, Incidents) so you can jump into any list with one tap.
