Client Reports — Overview
The register of composed, branded reports — what the cards show, the four statuses, and how a report moves from draft to archived.
A client report is a composed document covering a period — a week, a month, or a range you set. PleoStack pulls the approved daily logs and the live project data for that period, arranges them into ten sections you can order and tune, and wraps the result in your branding. You then finalise it, and hand it over as a link or a printed PDF.
Where It Lives
Reports → Client Reports. The tab lists every report on the project with a count above it. New Report appears in the header only while this tab is showing.
Each row card carries the report title, its status badge, the period it covers, and whether it is weekly, monthly or a custom range. The row menu on each card offers Open and Delete.
Delete is permanent
Deleting removes the section layout, the narrative you wrote and the photo selection for good. The daily logs and records it drew from are untouched — but the report itself cannot be recovered.
The Four Statuses
| Status | What it means | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Being built | Edit sections, save, preview, Mark as Final |
| Final | Compiled figures frozen | Preview, share by link, print, Mark as Sent |
| Sent | Recorded as delivered | Preview, share, print, Archive |
| Archived | Closed | Read it. There is no way back |
The path runs one way: draft → final → sent → archived. Nothing moves backwards.
What Goes In
| Sections drawn from | Source |
|---|---|
| Manpower, Delays & Issues, Safety, Weather, Photos & Progress | Approved daily logs dated inside the report period |
| Progress & Schedule, Inspections & QC, Issues, Materials & Resources | The project's live data, same as the analytics reports |
| Executive Summary and every Comments block | Written by you |
Approved logs only
A daily log still in draft, or sitting in the approval queue, contributes nothing. If a section looks thin, check the approval queue before assuming the data is missing.
