Projects
The projects you are a member of, as a set of cards — open one, or create a new project.
Projects in the sidebar, in your organization view, shows the projects in your organization that you are a member of, as cards. Active projects come first; projects that are on hold, completed or archived are under Other.
Each card shows the project's name and code, its client, contract value and sector when you have entered them, its city (or, if no city is entered, how many members it has) and when it was last updated. Click a card to open the project.
Creating a project
If your role lets you manage the organization, click New Project. The form walks through Basics, Parties, Contract, Schedule and Site, then a Review step.
- Only the Project Name is required. The Project Code is generated from the name if you leave it blank.
- Click Create now to create the project with what you have entered so far, and fill in the rest later in Project Settings.
- When you enter the site location, you can paste a full Google Maps link to fill in the latitude and longitude. Short links do not carry coordinates.
If you cannot create projects, ask your organization owner or admin to create one and add you to it.
To archive or delete projects, use Organization → Projects in Settings.
Questions
Why can't I see a project my colleagues are working on?
The page lists only the projects you're a member of. That's true for everyone, the organisation's owner included. Ask the person who runs that project to add you to it.
Does the number at the top count every project in the organisation?
No. It counts the projects you're a member of, the same ones shown as cards.
Who can see a project I've just created?
Only you, until you add people to it. A project appears on the Projects page of its members only.
Can I change the project code later?
No. The code is fixed once the project is created. The name and the rest of the project's details can be changed later in Project Settings.
