Completed Inspection
What the completed inspection view shows — outcome banners, multi-party comparison table, PDF export, and audit trail.
An inspection reaches its completed state when every party has signed off and no item is left failed — a failure at any review step returns the record to the Performer for another cycle instead of completing it. This view shows the outcome, a comparison of all party verdicts, and options for export and audit.
Outcome Banner
The top of the page shows the inspection result:
| Outcome | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Pass | Green | Every item passed or was marked N/A across all parties. Inspection is complete. |
A completed inspection is always a Pass. There is no completed-and-failed state — while any item is failed, the record stays in progress with the Performer.
Statistics displayed:
- Pass / Fail / N/A counts
- Duration (start to completion)
- Revisions (how many times it was sent back), when there were any
Comparison Table
The completed view shows a multi-party comparison table — all party verdicts displayed side by side for each checklist item:
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| Item | Checklist item label and section |
| Performer | Performer's verdict + notes + evidence |
| Checker | Checker's verdict + notes |
| Approver | Approver's verdict + notes |
Disagreements are highlighted — where parties gave different verdicts on the same item. This makes it easy to see where opinions diverged.

The PDF includes the project header, all verdicts with party attribution, embedded photos, a location record listing the coordinates captured with each verdict, and the sign-off record for each party (name and submission timestamp).
PDF exports are useful for client reporting, regulatory compliance records, internal quality audits, and archiving completed inspections.
Audit Trail
The activity log records every significant event in the inspection's history:
| Event Type | What It Records |
|---|---|
| Created | Who created the inspection and when |
| Started | When the performer began |
| Verdicts | Individual item verdicts with timestamps |
| Submissions | When each party submitted their review |
| Approvals/Rejections | The approver's decision |
| Reinspections | When and why cycles occurred |
| Issue auto-closure | When reinspection closed the issues raised from failed items |
Find it in the Activity section at the bottom of the completed inspection, open by default. Events are shown in reverse chronological order.
The audit trail is immutable — events cannot be edited or deleted after recording.

Questions
Can I reopen or change a completed inspection?
You can't edit or cancel it, but you can reopen it: Reinspect sends it back to the Performer to check again. On an inspection with parties, only the project owner or someone assigned to a party can use it. It's refused once the project's Max Reinspection Cycles is reached, or, while Require Issue Resolution Before Reinspection is on, until every linked issue is closed.
Who can see a share link?
Anyone you send it to, with no PleoStack account needed. Add a password when you create the link to limit it, and the link stops working when it expires.
Can a completed inspection be deleted?
Yes, by the project owner, or by the person who created it if their role allows deleting inspections. Its issues stay in the Issues register.
