Notification Preferences

Choose which notifications you receive in-app, by email and as push, and turn on push notifications for a device.

Settings → Organization → Notifications holds your own preferences. Anyone can open it, and changes here affect only you. Changes save automatically as you switch them.

Choosing channels

Notifications are grouped: Critical, Safety, High Priority, Updates and Summaries. Each row is one kind of notification, with a switch for each channel: In-App, Email and Push.

  • Critical notifications, such as an approval waiting for you or a safety incident on your project, keep their In-App and Email switches locked on. Only their push switch can be changed.
  • Every other switch is yours to set. Each group also has Enable all and Disable all for each channel, to switch it for the whole group at once.
  • The send button at the end of a row shows a preview of that notification.

Push notifications on this device

The box at the top of the page tells you whether push works on the device you are using.

  1. Click Enable on this device and allow notifications when your browser asks.
  2. Click Send a test notification to check it arrives.
  3. Click Turn off on this device to stop push here.

Devices you have turned push on for are listed under Registered devices. Remove one you no longer use with its remove button.

Questions

Do these settings apply to every project?

Yes. Your choices apply across every project, and every organization you belong to.

Is there a daily digest or weekly summary email?

No. PleoStack doesn't send digests, weekly summaries or stock alerts, so there is no switch for them. Every row on this page is a notification that is actually sent.

Where do in-app notifications show?

Under the bell icon, Notifications, in the app. Anything with In-App on arrives there.

If I switch off email for something, will I miss it?

Not if In-App is still on: it still arrives under the bell. Switch all three off and you won't hear about it at all. Critical notifications always reach you in-app and by email.
